Bill Sheets of Sherwood, who has 31 years of experience as a home inspector, has been appointed by Gov. Mike Beebe to the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board. The board oversees the acitvities of all Arkansas home inspections. Sheets is a member of both the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and the Arkansas Association of Real Estate Inspectors.

He received letters of recommendation from Janet Robb, the president of the Better Business Bureau of Arkansas; Pulaski County District Court Judge, Wayne Gruber; and ASHI President, Frank Lesh.

Sheets has been consulted by KATV's "7 On Your Side" when complaints were filed against homebuilders. Most recently for the segment, he traveled to El Dorado to give his expert judgment on several problem houses.

He has also been interviewed by several newspapers regarding expansive soil problems, which can cause foundation failure.
